To request a free online event registration
page, take the following steps:
- First, go to our
On-Line event calendar and register as a "user." Once this
process is complete you are eligible to submit events.
- Return to the OnLine Event Calendar and opt to "add event."
Provide the necessary information as requested - when you complete the
information about your location, if the meeting venue is not already
listed (and many popular venues already are) opt to have it saved
so that you will not have to reenter this information in the future.
(we also plan to add maps, directions and photos of the popular venues
to aid attendees). The form will also prompt you for information
about a registration URL. If you request and we approve an
online registration form, the URL will be:
http://www.southsidevirginia.biz/eventregistration/XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.htm
where the XX is any combination of letters or numbers (no spaces or
characters please) that you select (and provided it is not obscene,
objectionable or confusing). We suggest that if you plan to use
the calendar regularly, you reserve the last 3 places for numbers which
you increase sequentially as you hold events. Complete this
process and form and submit your event. It will not appear on the
calendar until it is reviewed and approved - generally 2-3 business days
- by which time your online registration will be ready!
- If you take no further action, the online form will be
our standard form, as customized based upon information submitted
with the event. if you wish to include further information such as a fax
registration number, a URL link to a map, or wish to have the results
sent to an email that is different from that givenwith the submission
